It groups your catalog into trending products, the most ordered products this year, and all-time bestsellers, so sales reps can find the right products without browsing the full catalog. There’s nothing to set up. - Select a customer before you start so pricing and picks reflect that account. --- ### A. What AI’s Smart Picks Shows WizOrder opens on the **Products** page when you log in. AI’s Smart Picks is the first thing you see at the top of the page, and it updates automatically each time you select a customer. ##### **» In Guest Mode** When no customer is selected, AI’s Smart Picks shows three sections: | **Section** | **What it shows** | **Use it when** | | --- | --- | --- | | **Trending This Quarter** | Products whose orders have been picking up this quarter | A buyer asks what’s new or what’s moving | | **Most Ordered This Year** | The top sellers by order volume for the current year | You want proven sellers to anchor the order | | **All-Time Bestsellers** | The best-performing products across your catalog’s whole history | A buyer wants your core, dependable items | ##### **![AI smart picks](https://knowledge.wizcommerce.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AI%20smart%20picks.png?width=670&height=363&name=AI%20smart%20picks.png)** ##### **» Personalized Picks** When you select a customer in WizOrder, AI’s Smart Picks tailors its recommendations to that customer’s purchase history and browsing activity. ![smart picks](https://knowledge.wizcommerce.com/hs-fs/hubfs/smart%20picks.png?width=670&height=364&name=smart%20picks.png) --- ### B. How AI’s Smart Picks Are Generated AI’s Smart Picks is not a manually curated list. The AI looks at the following to decide which products appear in each section: - **Order frequency and volume:** how often each product is ordered, and in what quantities. - **Customer browsing behavior:** which products buyers view, add to wishlists, or add to carts on WizShop. - **Purchase patterns:** seasonal trends, customer segments, and buying cycles. - **Product velocity changes:** products whose sales are speeding up are flagged as trending. Recommendations update automatically as new orders come in, so they always reflect current buying behavior. --- ### C. Use AI’s Smart Picks to Create an Order Use AI’s Smart Picks to add recommended products to a cart while you create an order. Select the customer first so the picks and pricing match their account. 1. Add the products the buyer wants to the cart: - In **Order Mode** (the default), add products one at a time as you walk the buyer through them. - In **Select Mode**, select several products at once and add them together to a cart, catalog, or wishlist. ![toggle](https://knowledge.wizcommerce.com/hs-fs/hubfs/toggle.png?width=670&height=364&name=toggle.png) 5. Otherwise, the picks and prices you see won’t reflect that account. --- ### D. Keep AI’s Smart Picks Accurate AI’s Smart Picks is built from order history, so a discontinued product keeps appearing until it’s marked **Inactive**. Inactive products are also removed from the search results. ##### **» To make product Active or Inactive** 1. Go to **Product Tool → Product Management**. 2. Find the product and click its **SKU ID**, or click the **Edit** icon in the **Action** column. 3. Go to the **Channel Settings** section and click **Edit**. 4. Tick or untick the checkbox to set the product as **Active** or **Inactive**. 5. Click **Save**. **Note:** To mark product as active, follow the same steps and set it to **Active**. It will appear in search results and AI’s Smart Picks again. --- #### **FAQs** **1. Do I need to refresh or configure AI’s Smart Picks?** **A.** No. AI’s Smart Picks updates on its own as new orders come in and each time you select a customer. **2. Why am I seeing a discontinued product in AI’s Smart Picks?** **A.** The product is most likely still set to **Active**. Picks are based on order history, so the AI can’t tell a product is discontinued unless its status is **Inactive**. See Section D. **3. Is AI’s Smart Picks the same as Promoted Products?** **A.** No. AI’s Smart Picks is generated automatically from buying data. **Promoted Products** are wishlists your admin publishes to put specific products in front of reps.
