FAQs

1. Can I create an order without selecting a customer first?

A. No. You must select a customer before adding products to the cart. This ensures customer-specific pricing, payment terms, and address details are applied correctly to the order.

2. What is the difference between creating an order from a cart and converting a quote to an order?

A. Creating an order from a cart means building the product selection from scratch. Converting a quote transfers all the approved details,  products, pricing, and customer information, directly into a new order without any rebuilding. Use the quote conversion when a customer has already reviewed and approved pricing.

3. Can I save an order and come back to it later without submitting?

A. Yes. Before clicking Submit Order, you can use the More menu to save the order as a draft. It will appear in the Orders page with a Draft status and can be edited and submitted at any time.
