Filter Products
Filters help you quickly find products in WizCommerce by narrowing results by specific attributes such as size, color, and materials. This guide explains how to apply and/or remove filters. This article explains each available filter and how to use them on both the mobile app and web portal.

Before You Begin
- You must have access to WizOrder or WizShop
- Applying and removing filters works the same way on both platforms, the only difference is the visual layout of the filter panel
A. Apply and Remove Filters Using Product Attributes
You can use the filter panel to show only products that match your search criteria.
How it Works on WizOrder (The sales rep app)
-
On the product list page in WizOrder, locate the filter panel just below the collection panel.

-
Browse filters directly in the panel, or click the funnel icon to access all available filters.

-
Click any attribute, such as Category, inventory, price, or color, and the product list page updates instantly to show only matching results.
-
To remove these filters, click on the 'X' icon. You can also remove multiple filters at once by clicking on Clear All.

When to use it:
-
You need to see all items from a specific supplier.
-
A customer requests to see only products within a specific price range.
-
You want to narrow a large category (like "Electrical") to a specific type (like "Wiring").
Where to find Filters for WizShop (Online Store)
Filtering on WizShop follows the same logic as WizOrder. The filter panel is located at the top of the product list page on the storefront.
-
On the product list page in WizShop, locate the filter panel at the top of the page.

Note: The process of applying and removing filters is similar across channels, whether you are using WizOrder (the sales rep app) or a customer is using WizShop (the online store). The only difference lies in the visual design and layout of the interface elements across platforms.
B. Remove or Clear Applied Filters
You can quickly remove one or all filters, or reset your view to start a fresh search.
How it works:
-
To remove one filter, click the "X" next to it in the filter panel.
-
To clear all filters at once, click the Clear All button in the panel.
When to use it:
-
A customer changes their mind about one requirement (remove just that filter).
-
You are done with one customer and need a clean view for the next (clear all filters).
-
Your filtered list is empty, and you want to start over (clear all filters).
Where to find it:
-
The "X" appears next to each active filter in the panel.
-
The Clear All button is at the extreme left of the filter panel.
C. Quick Filters
Quick Filters let you turn your most-used filters into one-click chips that sit above the product grid, so buyers can apply a common filter with a single tap instead of opening the filter panel each time. You choose which of your existing filters become Quick Filters. Quick Filters use the same filtering logic as your standard filters. They are a faster way to apply filters, not a different way of filtering.
How to enable Quick Filters in WizOrder
Quick Filters are configured by an administrator in WizOrder and appear on your WizShop storefront.
- In WizOrder, go to Settings → Org Settings.

- Then go to Product → Product Listing Page.

- Scroll down to Filter Permission Table.

- Each row is one of your existing filters, such as, Category, Collections, or Price.

- Click Edit (action menu) to turn on the Quick Filter toggle.

- Turn on the Quick Filter toggle and click Save.

- Check here to make sure the toggle is enabled.

- The filters you turn on now appear as Quick Filter chips above the product grid on your storefront.
Note: You can enable or disable a Quick Filter at the parent filter level only. You cannot choose which child attributes under a parent filter appear on the WizShop, this is a part of configuration. To set this up, reach out to our support team at help@wizcommerce.com.
For Example:
-
If Category is your parent filter, Furniture, Cabinet, and Lighting are child attributes under it.
- If Color is your parent filter, Red, Black, and Blue are child attributes under it.
- If Tags is your parent filter, Best Seller and New Arrivals are child attributes under it.
FAQs
1. Do filters reset when I navigate away from the product list page?
A. No. Applied filters persist when you navigate away and return to the product list page. You do not need to reapply them each time, use Clear All when you are ready to start a fresh search.
2. Can I filter by multiple values within the same attribute — for example, two colors at once?
A. Yes. You can select multiple values within the same attribute, for example, choosing both Blue and Red under Color. The product list updates to show all products that match any of the selected values within that attribute.
3. Do filters applied in WizOrder affect what buyers see on WizShop?
A. No. Filters are independent on each platform. Filters applied in WizOrder only affect your current view in WizOrder and do not change what buyers see on WizShop.
