How do I update a user's email address or phone number?

These two fields work differently in WizCommerce. Here is what you can and cannot change.


» Phone number

A user's phone number can be updated directly from the Admin Panel.

  1. Login to WizOder and navigate to Settings → User management
  2. Search for the user by name or email address
  3. Update the phone number field and save
  4. Confirm the change with the user

» Email address

Email addresses cannot be changed once a user account has been created. The email address is used as the unique login identifier for the account.

If a user needs to log in with a different email address, the existing account will need to be removed and a new one created under the new email address. Contact help@wizcommerce.com and our team will assist you with this.


» Things to keep in mind

  • Changing a phone number does not affect the user's login or access
  • If a user's email address changes, they will need a new account set up under the new email
  • Always confirm any account changes with the user once they are done
