Received 'Registration Under Review' email but no follow-up. Do reps get notified of new registrations?
When a buyer registers on your B2B website as an existing user, their registration doesn't go live immediately. It enters a pending review state and waits for an admin to approve it. Until someone approves it, the buyer won't be able to log in — even if they received the "Registration Under Review" email.
If the buyer hasn't heard back, the registration is most likely still sitting in the approval queue. Check with the WizShop Admin for the approval.
» How to approve a pending registration
- Log in to the WizCommerce Admin Panel
- Go to the Customers or Website Users section
- Look for any registrations marked as Pending
- Review the buyer's details — name, email, and company
- Click Approve or Reject as appropriate
- Once approved, the buyer will automatically receive an activation email with access instructions

» Why does this happen?
The review step is intentional, it gives your team control over who gets access to your B2B website before they can start placing orders. This is especially important for B2B businesses where you want to verify a buyer's details before granting them access to your pricing and catalogue.
» Do sales reps get notified of new registrations?
It depends on how your account notifications are configured. Some accounts are set up to notify reps automatically when a new registration comes in — others are not. If your reps aren't receiving notifications, contact our Support Team and we can check your notification settings.
» Tips to avoid delays
- Assign someone on your team to check for pending registrations regularly, buyers waiting for access may go elsewhere if approval takes too long
- If you're expecting a high volume of registrations, ask your Customer Success Manager about setting up automatic notifications so nothing slips through
