Relight Scene

Relight Scene adjusts the lighting of an existing product image using preset lighting styles, without changing the product itself. This article explains how to apply lighting presets and when to use relighting for lifestyle or silo images.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to WizStudio
  • Have the product image you want to relight ready to upload or open
  • Relight Scene adjusts lighting conditions only, it does not alter the product, its colors, or its background

A.  Apply a Lighting Preset to Your Image

Relight Scene offers six preset lighting styles. Select the one that best matches the look you want and generate variations to review the results.

  1. Upload or open your product image in Relight Scene.

  2. Select from the available lighting presets:
    • Golden Hour: Warm, soft light that mimics late afternoon sunlight
    • Intense Daylight: Bright, high-contrast natural light
    • Warm Daylight: Soft, neutral warm light
    • Warm Shadows: Warm tones with visible shadow depth 
    • Cool Shadows: Cooler tones with defined shadow contrast
    • Studio Lighting: Clean, even lighting with a professional studio look

  3. Click Generate Variations. WizStudio generates variations applying the selected lighting to your image. Results appear on screen once processing is complete. 


  4. Download your preferred variation or continue editing, following the same workflow as the Lifestyle Generator.

FAQs

1. Can I apply more than one lighting preset to the same image?

A. Yes. After reviewing your first set of variations, select a different preset and click Generate Variations again. Each preset produces its own set of results for you to compare.

2. Will Relight Scene change my product's color or background?

A. No. Relight Scene only adjusts the lighting conditions in the image. The product, its colors, and the background remain unchanged.

3. Can I edit a relit image further after generating it?

A. Yes. Click Lifestyle Generator after selecting a variation to continue editing — you can apply background changes, prompt-based edits, or additional lighting adjustments from there.
