Instructions you add here apply to everyone in your organization who uses WizPilot. Only admins can view and edit them, and any changes apply to new chats right away. - Some instructions may already be listed. These were set up by WizCommerce during onboarding, and you can edit or delete them. --- ### A. What are Admin Instructions? Every business defines things a little differently. "Booked revenue" might mean one thing to your team and something else to another. **Admin Instructions** let you write those definitions and rules down once, so **WizPilot** answers the way your organization expects. **Admin Instructions** are the **Org-Level Definitions** layer of WizPilot's configuration. They sit on top of WizCommerce's Base Rules and apply to everyone on your team. Where to Find Admin Instructions Admin Instructions is in the WizPilot side menu, and only admins can see it. Open it to view all of your organization’s instructions in one place, grouped by section. 1. Click the **WizPilot** icon in the left navigation bar. 2. Instruction Sections Instructions are grouped into sections, so related rules stay together and are easy to find. | **Section** | **Use it for** | | --- | --- | | **General** | Rules that apply to every response | | **Handling special queries** | How WizPilot should respond to specific types of questions | | **Sales** | Sales metrics and definitions | | **Quotes** | Quote-related definitions and rules | | **Fulfillments** | Fulfillment-related definitions and rules | | **Billing** | Billing-related definitions and rules | | **Payments** | Payment-related definitions and rules | | **Customers** | Customer-related definitions and rules | | **Products** | Product-related definitions and rules | | **CRM** | CRM-related definitions and rules (shown only if your organization uses CRM) | | **Ecommerce** | Ecommerce-related definitions and rules | | **Additional Formatting instructions** | How responses should look, for example tables, currency, or date formats | → **For Example: General Section** **![general section](https://knowledge.wizcommerce.com/hs-fs/hubfs/general%20section.png?width=670&height=364&name=general%20section.png)** **Tip:** Add each instruction to the section it relates to most. For example, a definition of "booked revenue" belongs under **Sales**. --- ### D. Add Instructions Add new instructions to tell WizPilot how your organization works, either to an existing section or to a new one. Once added, an instruction applies to everyone in your organization who uses WizPilot.     ##### **» Add a new instruction** 1. Enter the instruction, written as the rule WizPilot should follow. 4. Edit or Delete Instructions Update an instruction when your rules change, or remove one you no longer need. Changes apply to new chats straight away. ##### **» Edit an instruction** 1. Find the instruction you want to change. 2. Once you edit one, it shows as **Added or edited by Admin**. ##### **» Delete an instruction** 1. Find the instruction you want to remove. 2. Write instructions clearly and specifically, for example "Booked revenue means Total value of confirmed orders in the selected period" rather than "Revenue should be accurate." --- ### F. Search Instructions Type a keyword in the search bar at the top of the page to find instructions that contain it. Who can see and change Admin Instructions?** **A.** Only admin users. Sales reps don't see this page, but WizPilot follows these instructions in their conversations. **2. Do my instructions apply to everyone, or just to me?** **A.** Everyone in your organization who uses WizPilot. To set instructions that apply only to you, use **Custom Instructions** in **User Preferences**. **3. What's the difference between Admin Instructions and User Preferences?** **A.** Admin Instructions set your organization's rules and definitions for everyone. User Preferences are personal to each user and control things like tone and individual instructions. In short, admins set the rules and each user sets their style. **4. I see instructions I didn't add. Where did they come from?** **A.** Instructions labelled **Set up by WizCommerce** were added by the WizCommerce team, usually during onboarding. You can keep, edit, or delete them. **5. WizPilot is calculating a metric differently from how my team defines it. How do I fix this?** **A.** Add an instruction that defines the metric, in the section it relates to. For example, add your definition of "booked revenue" under **Sales**. Search first to check whether an existing instruction already defines it, and edit that one instead of adding a second. **6. Why don't I see the CRM section?** A. The CRM section is only available if CRM is enabled for your organization in WizCommerce. **7. Can I change how WizPilot formats its responses for my team?** **A.** Yes.
