Catalogs Overview

A catalog is your product presentation turned into a digital, interactive booklet version inside WizOrder or WizShop. Sales reps can walk a buyer through it on the iPad, click on any product, and add it straight to a cart instead of browsing through PDPs and PLPs.

Platform: WizOrder & WizShop      |     Who is this for: All Users

To get there: Products → Catalog

For your information, we have renamed Lookbook to Catalog.

Table of Contents

Before You Begin

  • Your account must have access to the catalog view. Admins control this under User Management.
  • At least one catalog must be published and synced into WizCommerce.

A. What is a Catalog?

A Catalog is your printed product presentation brought to life digitally. You can open it on your iPad, click any product to view its details, and add it to your cart—all without leaving the presentation.

Your admin creates each Catalog in WizOrder or Publitas, a partner tool that integrates with WizOrder. Once published, the Catalog syncs with WizOrder and is ready to use in the field.

Each Catalog has three types of clickable areas:

  • Product hotspots: Click to open the product, check the price, and add it to a cart.

  • Link hotspots: Click to open a website page.

  • Video hotspots: Click to play video.

Note: If the Catalog option is not visible, your role may not have Catalog access. Contact your admin to update permissions under User Management.

C. Use a Catalog

Once a Catalog is open, you have several tools to navigate it and share it with buyers.

  1. Click any tagged product to open its details, check the price, or add it to a cart.
  2. Zoom (magnifying glass with +): Zoom in on the current page to see product details, fine print, or images more clearly.

D. When to Use a Catalog?

Catalogs work best when you want to show a buyer a specific set of products, not search the full presentation.

Common use cases include:

  • Trade shows and showroom visits: Show buyers a seasonal or themed presentation with products ready to add to a cart.
  • Showroom visits with limited floor space: Show your full inventory digitally when you can't physically display every product.
  • New collection launches: Share a polished, branded presentation instead of a flat PDF.
  • Customer-specific presentations: Walk through a presentation built for a buyer segment.

FAQs

1. Why can I see Explore but not Catalog on my Products page?

A. Catalog access is set per role. Contact your Administrator to turn on Catalog permissions for your role under User Management.

2. Can I add products to a cart directly from a Catalog?

A. Yes. Click any product hotspot inside the Catalog to open the product details and add it to the active cart.

3. Why are some products in the Catalog not clickable?

A. Only the products your Administrator has tagged are clickable. If a product you need is missing, ask your Administrator to add it in Publitas.
