Smart Product Recommendations
Inside the Sales Rep App (WizOrder), Smart Picks surfaces AI-powered product recommendations directly on the Products page. Instead of manually analyzing sales data or browsing the full catalog, reps see trending items, top performers, and bestsellers automatically ranked by real buying behavior. This article explains how each section works, how recommendations are generated, and how reps can use the AI Copilot to get customer-specific suggestions.

Before You Begin
- You must have access to WizOrder
- Smart Picks appear automatically at the top of the Products page, no setup is required
- To get customer-specific recommendations, select the customer in WizOrder before viewing Smart Picks (see Section C)
A. Smart Picks by AI Co-Pilot
At the top of the Products page, WizOrder displays three AI-powered recommendation sections known as Smart Picks:

Trending This Quarter: Products with increasing order velocity over the current quarter. These are items gaining momentum; they may not be your bestsellers yet, but they’re on the rise and worth highlighting to buyers.

Most Ordered This Year: The top-selling products by order volume for the current year. These represent your proven sellers, reliable products that consistently perform well across your customer base.

All Time Bestsellers: Your highest-performing products over the entire history of your catalog. These are the core revenue drivers that have stood the test of time.
B. How Recommendations Are Generated
Smart picks are not random. The AI analyzes multiple signals to determine which products appear in each section:

Order frequency and volume: How often and how much of each product is being ordered

Customer browsing behavior: Which products buyers view, add to wishlists, or add to carts on WizShop

Purchase patterns: Seasonal trends, customer segments, and buying cycles

Product velocity changes: Items with accelerating sales are flagged as trending
Recommendations refresh regularly as new data flows in, so smart picks stay current with actual buying behavior rather than static merchandising decisions.
C. Get Recommendations for a Specific Customer
When a sales rep selects a specific customer in WizOrder, AI recommendations can be personalized further. AI Co-pilot analyzes the customer’s purchase history and browsing activity to surface products they’re likely to order.
Ask AI Co-pilot: "What products should I recommend to [Customer Name]?" and get a tailored list based on that specific account’s behavior and preferences.
D. Search for Products Using Natural Language
Beyond Smart Picks and visual search, AI Co-pilot responds to natural language product queries:

"Find me all warm-colored three-seater sofas with dark polish."

"Show me red flowers under $200 that are in stock.”
AI Co-pilot searches across your product catalog using attributes, descriptions, and categories to return matching results. From the results, reps can add products to a cart, wishlist, or catalog with a single click.

1. How often do Smart Picks refresh?
A. Smart Picks refresh regularly as new order data flows in. The recommendations reflect actual buying behavior rather than manually configured lists, so they update automatically without any action needed from you.
2. Do Smart Picks change when I select a different customer?
A. Yes. When you select a customer in WizOrder, Smart Picks and AI Co-pilot recommendations are personalized to that customer's purchase history and browsing behavior. Switching to a different customer updates the recommendations accordingly.
3. Can I add a product from Smart Picks directly to a cart without opening the product details page?
A. Yes. Click Add to Cart directly on any product card within the Smart Picks section to add it to your active cart without leaving the page.
