How do I update a customer's billing address?

Billing addresses can be updated directly from the Customers tab in WizCommerce. Changes take effect immediately, so the customer's profile reflects the new address across the platform right away.


» How to update a billing address

  1. Log in to WizCommerce and go to the Customers tab.
  2. Find the customer whose billing address needs to be updated using the search bar or column filters.
  3. Open the edit view in either of two ways:
    • Click the Action column for that customer in the Customers list, or
    • Click the customer's name to open their profile, then click the three-dot menu at the top and select Edit.
  4. Scroll to the billing address fields and update the details.
  5. Save the changes.
  6. Confirm the update with the customer.

Note: If you do not see the option to update, your role might not include the required permission. Reach out to your admin to enable it under Settings → User Management → Roles.


» Things to keep in mind

  • If your account is synced with an ERP, the billing address may be overwritten during the next sync. Update the address in your ERP as well to make the change permanent
  • Updating the billing address on a customer profile does not affect orders that have already been placed
