A. Carts, Wishlists, and Presentation
» Cart:
A cart holds the products a buyer intends to purchase. Items in a cart are ready to move forward: they can be placed as an order directly, or converted into a quote first.
For example, a retailer preparing for fall may add 12 velvet pumpkins, 8 brass candle holders, and 6 oversized wall clocks to a cart before confirming the order.
Carts can be:
- Built by a rep in WizOrder or by a buyer on WizShop
- Kept open as multiple active carts for the same customer, so separate orders for different locations or buying occasions don't have to be rebuilt each time
- Converted into a quote before the order is placed
» Wishlist (Saved List):
A wishlist is a saved collection of products that reps and buyers can return to without committing to a cart or an order. Think of it as a bookmark: a place to park products you want to revisit, share with a customer, or use as the starting point for something else.
For example, a rep may keep a wishlist of a customer's best-selling SKUs from last season, then convert it into a cart when the reorder conversation comes up.
Wishlists can be:
- Created by reps for specific customers, or by buyers directly on WizShop
- Published as promoted products, making them visible to buyers as a curated selection
- Converted into a cart, catalog, or quote when ready to move forward
» Presentation:
A presentation is a curated set of products packaged for a buyer to look through. Reps build it in WizOrder by selecting products manually or pulling them in with filters, adjust the layout, and share it, so the buyer doesn't have to browse the full product catalog to find what's relevant to them.
For example, ahead of a fall buy, a rep may build a 40-product presentation of seasonal decor for a boutique chain, drop the SKUs outside their price band, and send it the morning before the call.
Presentations can be:
- Built from a filtered product view or assembled product by product
- Customized for layout, product order, and which product details appear
- Shared with a customer as a link or downloaded as a PDF
- Used as the source file for a catalog, where the presentation PDF becomes an interactive booklet
» Catalog:
In WizCommerce, catalog means one of two things depending on context:
- Your product catalog: the complete range of products available in your WizCommerce account
- A catalog (booklet): a presentation PDF turned into a digital, interactive booklet that reps and buyers can open inside WizOrder or WizShop
For example, a supplier may publish their Spring 2026 presentation as a catalog so reps can flip through it on the iPad and tap any product to add it to a cart.
B. Customer-Specific Pricing
Pricing in WizCommerce is not one-size-fits-all; it is tied to the customer, not just the product. Every customer is assigned to a price list that determines what they see and what they pay. This happens automatically when a rep selects a customer in the Sales Rep App (WizOrder), or when a buyer logs into your Online Storefront (WizShop).
Prices can vary based on:
- Customer type: For example, boutique retailers vs. national chains
- Product or collection: For example, a premium lighting line with its own pricing tier
- Volume tiers: For example, 1–11 units at one price, 12–47 units at a lower price, 48+ units at the best price
When a buyer logs in or is selected by a rep, their correct pricing is automatically displayed across:
- The Sales Rep App (WizOrder)
- The Online Storefront (WizShop)
No manual switching is needed. The right prices show up automatically based on the customer's assigned price list.

FAQs
1. Can a rep have multiple carts open for the same customer at the same time?
A. Yes. WizCommerce supports multiple carts per customer, allowing reps to prepare separate orders for different locations or buying occasions simultaneously without losing any existing cart contents.
2. Can a wishlist be shared with a buyer?
A. Yes. Wishlists can be published as promoted products, making them visible to buyers on WizShop as a curated selection.
3. Do all buyers see the same prices?
A. No. Each buyer is assigned a price list that determines the prices they see. A large regional retailer may see distributor pricing and volume tiers, while a small boutique sees standard wholesale pricing, all automatically, based on their account settings.
4. Does a rep need to manually switch pricing when serving different customers?
A. No. When a rep selects a customer in the Sales Rep App, or when a buyer logs into WizShop, the correct pricing for that customer is applied automatically. No manual switching is required.
